The Zapping card is the best way to travel for short time in the public transport in Lisbon metropolitan’s area.
You can get
it at any train or metro station and it comes in the shape of a green carton card.
You need to
select the option of “I don’t have a card” and “Zapping”.
It costs 0.50€
and you can charge it with 3, 5, 10 ou 20 €.
Then you
can use it in any public transport in Lisbon (metro, train, bus, tram and boat)
with the model of "Pay as you Go". And it is usually slightly cheaper then buying
an individual ticket.
